Since it's been several months since I last updated here, I thought I'd drop a few lines to let everyone know I'm not dead, just uber-busy and in love.

Yes, you read that right: IN. LOVE.

His name is Scott, he's 24, 6'2", has a Master's Degree in IT, and is generally the sweetest, funniest guy you could possibly imagine. He's also a geek - he likes anime, video games, Magic: The Gathering, Monty Python, and Hitchhiker's Guide, among others. _{He's also very AFRAID of yaoi fangirls and the fact that I own a yaoi paddle, but you'd never know it from the commentary he makes during YuHakuThon 2009 (which is the phenomenon where he JOYFULLY sits down and watches six episodes of YYH at a time with me because he's never seen the end of the series) - I swear he has a better pair of slash goggles than I do at times.}

The interesting thing is, we live less than 15 miles away from each other (he lives down the street from my sister - I literally pass his house on the way to hers) and could have crossed paths any number of times (especially at Otakon), but it took a dating site to bring us together. How weird is that? In any case, we decided to meet up, sparks flew, and just a couple of outings later he asked to be my boyfriend.

Okay, that's enough about Scott (though I could go on for a while longer).
